Blog Hop (9)

Book Blogger Hop
The Book Blogger Hop is a great way to network your blog and discover some new amazing blogs.  It is hosted at Crazy-for-Books.

This week's question:  Do you read only one book at a time, or do you have several going at once?

My Answer:  It depends. For me, the beginning of a book is the hardest for me to get through so usually I'm switching off between two books until one book grabs me.  As soon as I'm "in" the book, I don't read anything else until it's finished.  Then there are books that are hard to get through because of the subject matter, in that case, I will continue to read another book at the same time.  Also, I'm almost always rereading a book.  For example, right now I've started Thirst by Christopher Pike, but I'm really into Werewolf in Manhattan by Vicki Lewis Thompson; and I'm rereading (for the umpteenth time) The Iron King by Julia Kagawa.

    When I can't get into a book I finish the rest of the books I'm reading, if I'm reading another books, and focus on that. If I still can't get into it I leave and move on.
